Self Awareness and Self Love
It's been nearly two years since I left for Paris. I look back at who I was in the beginning of 2016 and I am amazed at how much I've grown as a person.
Since then, I left a toxic relationship, left a job I didn't feel fulfilled in, I have been working out consistently for over a year and have allowed my friendships to flourish in a way I have never seen before. I have been actively working at self awareness and self love and as a result have a whole new sense of calm and peace.
Though my life is just as demanding and busy, I have learned just how important it is to put your peace of mind first. It is so so important to treat and take care of yourself. We so often choose to neglect our well being in order to achieve other goals.
But ask yourself one thing.
What good will that pay raise do for you if you are not healthy and your mind is cluttered?
Though January is almost done, February is a whole new month to start a series of habits that will contribute to both your physical and emotional wellbeing.
So, go do that HIIT exercise, get a massage, take an epsom salt bath. You deserve it.
